Backbone è la trasformazione dell'uomo in una struttura di prodotti industriali di largo consumo. Figure umane realizzate in ferro arrugginito, metallo dalle origine antiche coinvolto in un processo di deterioramento, lasciano il posto ad un mutante. Un soggetto formato da una colonna vertebrale iper sviluppata, sospeso dal suolo, composto da prodotti per curare, igienizzare e abbellire il corpo umano, come medicine, vitamine, deodoranti, dentifrici, mascara, rossetti. Si afferma un'alterità difforme dalla natura umana.
